Hard drive full

Windows 7 hard drive full for no reason

Well, I hardly doubt that it is full for no reason, just not one you are aware of.  First thing I would do is to download WinDirStat, a free program that details drive usage.  That will get you started on what is using up all the space.  The link to their site is here.

Let me know if you run into any issues with this program.
I use Tree Size (Jam Software).  Sort disk usage by space and be sure you enable hidden files. The system may be making backups on the disk. This often accounts for disk usage.

WinStatDir did the trick.   Great Tool!
Also if you can give us an idea of what hard drive and how large it is.  I know it doesn't answer the question but perhaps we can go about finding out how much space you have and how much you need and then from there we can find out what you need to remove to free up space etc.
Run Directory Report as administrator
That way it can find hidden files
If you have over 11 million files then there is a 64 bit version
