Where are my videos hiding on my iPhone 7?

I am using a few teleprompter apps and start the recording okay, but I can not find where the video is being placed for either app. I look in the Camera app since that is where I see videos when created with the Camera app, but I am sure they are elsewhere...

Any ides where I can find them?

Thanks

On the iPhone, there are two apps: Camera and Photos. Did you open Photos?  Pictures and Videos are there.

That should do it unless you have them stored somewhere by mistake like this:

You can hide your iPhone videos without using any third-party app. You will need to use Photos app of your iPhone to achieve this.

Follow these instructions to hide your videos via Photos app:

Launch Photos app on your iPhone and navigate to the album which contains the videos that you want to hide.
Now use Select option and then choose the videos you want to hide.
After selecting the videos, tap Hide and then select Hide Video option. Your selected videos will now be hidden.

But I suppose you would know you did that :)

I now know to check my Photos app. but there is nothing there.

I never Hid the movies, but can not find where this app (VIDEO TELEPROMPTER LITE) cold be saving them. There is an upgraded version, but I feel the LITE version is supposed to be a working version. So, if I can not find the videos with the LITE version, that problem will also be there on the $14 version.

It seemed like the perfect app for me, with a compressible text area, which eliminated eye movement...

Well I found this on some review:

I downloaded this app it was working good I wanted to try it before I bought it. Now it’s not working properly recorded the same video for times and it will not upload like it was doing before it will not save my video I’ve wasted over two hours of my time trying to create a video that keeps disappearing it’s very frustrating I’m not sure if I’m going to purchase the app I don’t want to spend money on something that’s not gonna work properly.. The company emailed me back but I was so upset I did not reply to them because there’s nothing that they could do to retrieve my last video my app sent me a notification that the bugs were fixed so I tried it again and again this morning my 20 minute video lost gone never uploaded I should just give up and delete the whole thing in definitely.

So what I get from this, it is not working and videos are not saved on phone but uploaded somewhere?

Update: I have downloaded app, recorded 20sec video and I found it in my photos section. Iphone 6s iOS11.4.1

Ok, so chasing the video is a mistake.

I tried to use the iPhone Camera app to record the video in the background, but that did not work. Once I put the teleprompter app on the front, the video stops being recorded.

Does iMovie record a video on the iPhone? If so, can it record while in the background?

Maybe you could try and reinstall the app? Did you give it all permisions when prompted? Everything is working fine with me

I re-installed with no effect.

Are you using Video Teleprompter Lite?

VIDEO TELEPROMPTER LITE
If so, please tell me the exact sequence of buttons you push.

It must be something with app, probably because its lite version. Second time when I run it, after I finish with recording it just throws me out of app and there is no video.

Ok, I want to work around this by recording the video (from another app) while it is in the background.

Camera app fails at this. Once it loses focus, video record stops.

Any idea of an app that takes video while in the background? This lets me put the teleprompter on top, and the problem's solved.

thanks for helping me determine the app was broken. I found a working one which costs a few dollars when your script exceed 750 characters. BUT IT WORKS!
