Stateless session beans are session beans whose instances have no conversational state.

Stateful Session Beans have  about a specific client’s session, and holds that information throughout the whole session. A Stateful EJB instance is coupled with only one client. One client can of course have many EJB instances is his session.

Singleton pattern is a software design pattern that restricts the instantiation of a class to one object. This is useful when exactly one object is needed to coordinate actions across the system.
