msi files needs admin rights to install on computers
I am trying to setup a batch file that looks at a msi file to be sent out through Windows Server group policy, but it is not working because it wants administrative rights once it hits the computer. How do I give admin rights so the msi will install?
You need an administrator to install the software at the workstation. That person can satisfy the UAC request for admin user name and password.
