Reason for rise in stock prices

Hi,
How did the share price of indusind bank rose so high as 1935
whereas ICICI is at 271
Also i see one other stock - Eicher motors at 28000
Please if someone has any info about these high jumps especially the Eicher motors...
what are the causes and what events actually happened to make the stock price got so high.
Please also suggest some good video/lectures on understanding the basics etc of stock pricing..
some good book/magazine etc.
Is there any magazine or journal that actually conducts research on stocks for how they have behaved
and why with evidence..

Thanks

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

All the information is out there if you look for it.

There are MANY companies out there that do nothing but attempt to "guess" at stock prices.  They like to think they are "predicting" but it is still just a "guess".  That is how investment firms, banks, fund managers make all their money.

There are schools that offer degrees in Finance.

As far as overall how stocks rise and fall, there is a LOT of info out there:

If this question is actually an attempt to get information that will make you rich in the Stock Market, I think you may be disappointed.

I hope someone does have that knowledge and will share it!  I would love to retire...   ;)
