How to track disappearing message from external sender..
Scenario: E-mail from an external company is not making it to our Exchange 2013 environment. The message never hits any of our managed mail servers. The sender does not receive a "Message Undeliverable" response, and believes the message was delivered. The message is not being blocked by any of our anti-malware filters. All other external messages are coming through just fine.
Question: What kind of information can I gather from the sender, and the public internet, to determine where the message is going?
All thoughts and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

First thing I would do is to check if the mail hit our email gateway, If the email did not hit our gateway then the sender needs to check with their IT team to confirm the submission probably the email is being blocked at their gateway or might be hitting any rule DLP etc which silently deleting the email.
to troubleshoot from your side you just need the sender email address and can track if anything is hitting the gateway from the sender.
