Can I use D Drive?
It might be the recovery partition (but it's rather large for that). You can still use it but we can only tell if you show us a screenshot from disk manager.
and/or some toplevel directory (folder) contents.

D: is very small and could be for other uses as others have noted above. So check out what is on that drive.
If there is room, you could store Documents there but do not install programs there.
Overall you have enough space on C: to install programs and keep a modest amount of data. If you have a lot of photos and videos, you may wish to consider a larger drive.

Thank you. I think I'm going to resolve the issue by buying an SD card instead which should give me additional storage space
