We are randomly having issues with our barracuda backup of our SQL 2014 DB's. It will run for weeks and then get this error for several days. Sometimes a reboot works, other times it does not.

Good morning,
Barracuda says it is our issue on the SQL server and they cannot assist with a solution. We have no issues other than the back ups. I did test by removing all jobs and adding one at a time back. One job (for a DB) in particular may be the issue. I removed the other backups seem to have run. Willl test a few more days.
If that is the case, would you have any idea what about the specific DB backup would cause this?

Thanks. We will investigate the integrity of the DB. All the crucila DB's are backing up now. This is for a utility. Not a big concern.
As the error message says, The drive where your backup was taken or written to has some IO issues or in other words it is not having enough IO to support your Backup operation and hence aborting in the middle.
Kindly check with Barracuda Support to have this one fixed out from their end if backups are directly taken to their Cloud storage.
