Unable to get new UPS battery to supply power to devices

I recently purchased an APC Smart UPS 1500 from Amazon. Here is a link to the product: https://www.amazon.com/APC-Smart-UPS-1500VA-Battery-SMT1500/dp/B002MZW5JU

I received the product yesterday, plugged in the battery connector in the back of the unit, plugged in the unit to the outlet on the wall, plugged several devices and then turned it on. The UPS comes on, but it is not providing any power to my devices. I'm not sure if the battery is defective or how to troubleshoot the issue. I did some googling yesterday and not much information is listed on troubleshooting the UPS power supply. It is showing 99% charged, but the output shows off on the LED, which from what I understand seems to indicate that there is no power being output to the devices plugged into the back of the UPS device. I've attached a few pics of the front LED display and the back of the unit. I've unplugged the devices from the back until I figure out if the device is busted or if there is something that I've missed (user error) on my part. Thanks for any help.

Let the unit charge for an hour or so and see if the unit then provides power to the UPS outlets on the back.  If nothing, you should probably call APC Support.
Also, it appears that unit takes 2 battery packs (mine does). Did you get two batteries with the unit?

Hi John, I have let the unit charge overnight and it's weird that it is still showing 99% instead of 100% after charging overnight. I am not sure if it came with two battery packs. I assuming that it came with the correct batteries in the unit, but I have not opened it up to check. I did call support and they said they cannot return it and just refunded me so I could purchase a new one.

Now, my question is should I purchase the same one again? Or, try a different one. I previously had an APC Smart UPS 1500 that was almost identical to the one I bought that worked very well for years. I had no compliments with the previous one I had. I'm not sure if this one got damaged during shipping or if it was just a bad one from the factory. Now that I've been refunded, I'm a little hesitant of buying the same one. Kind of buyers shock. Any thoughts or recommendations? I'm actually planning on having two. This first one is to power my PC and the other one will be for 3 monitors and a few smaller devices.

Thanks for everyone's help!!
No prob. Were you able to get the unit to turn the output power on?
Yes, it came on after unplugging it and plugging it back in and doing a restart on it. I have no clue what was different than I did previously. Very strange. Again, thanks for your help! I appreciate it.
Good!  Glad you were able to resolve the issue.

Sometimes UPS can be treated as backup mains supply, but sometimes they need a damned good kicking.
