MS Access VBA opening file causes warning message - how to disable warning

MS Access 2013
Using VBA; Application.FollowHyperlink to open file from network share.  This all works, but there is an annoying warning box.

Some files can contain viruses or otherwise be harmful... blah blah blah   Would you like to open this file?

I have already tried setting:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Common\Security]
"DisableHyperlinkWarning"=dword:00000001

Open in new window

and setting the privacy settings.

So far none of these have worked for me.   I've been googling for answers, but all similar (or for pre 2010 versions) and don't work for me (so far).

How can this warning be "switched off" ?

Thanks for your time and help,

Did you try putting the Network share in the list of "Trusted" locations?
File-->Options-->Trust Center
Click: "Trust Center Settings" button.
Click: Add New Location" button

Notice, that you might have to check On the box called: "Allow Trusted Locations on My Network (Not Recommended)"
If it works, ...as your Network administrator if this is OK.

BTW, ...what types of files are these?

@JeffCoachman

I had the database locations in the trusted list, but not the location of the files which are being opened.   I was hopeful this might have been the cure, but unfortunately the warning box still shows.  (access closed/open - machine restarted etc.. )

I already have "Allow Trusted Locations on My Network (Not Recommended)" on.

*.tif  (think you can see in the screenshot?    Its a very long and boring story why they are using tif .. lets not go down the why road :-))

Yep , see it now, ...no, ...no reason to explain, ...I thought the files might be executables or some other system file type...

OK, ..lets see what the other experts may post...
