DNS manager for windows 10 client
Experts,
Is there a DNS Manager available for Windows 10 so that I can create Microsoft DNS records?

Arnold, what if I was able to get access to a regular domain member server? Would I be able to install the DNS tools on that and manage the DNS?
A Windows DNS server can be managed from a Windows 10 PC. Actually, most functions can. This can create DNS records on a Windows DNS server, but does not allow the W10 machine itself to function as a DNS server.
This requires you to download Remote Server Administration Tools. (RSAT) This is a package that includes not only DNS management, but a whole heap of other tools as well, including ADUC, DHCP, HyperV, Group policy management etc.
You can get it here:

alpha geek, i already have that installed on a windows 10 machine. However, I don't see anything about a DNS manager.
Should be under "Windows Administrative tools", from the start button.
Not sure if this happens evert time, but in at least some situations, upgrading the Windows 10 version, like from 1607 to 1709 removes RSAT, and a new version needs to be downloaded and installed.

This solution is only available to members.
To access this solution, you must be a member of Experts Exchange.
Remember once the RSAT tools are installed, you also need to enable the tools via Control Panel, Programs and Features, Turn Windows features on or off, and enable the RSAT tools. This applies to Windows 10, Pro, Enterprise etc, but not the Home editions.
Look at Cygwin environment....
There is no.native Microsoft DNS that can run on non server version.
Another option could be to use hyper-v and run a virtual machine with linux that will function as the DNS server as well as another .......
