I got lucky and purchased TeamViewer a few years back where they allowed for a one time business license purchase and be done with it.  Now they are like everyone else and will only charge subscription.

I noticed a few remote support tech using Bomgar.  I assume their price will be par with Logmein, TV, etc.  I mainly use VNC and RDP now when VPN is available.

Are/were you using the RMM features of RipMeOff or just the remote access stuff?
What about Show My PC?

Their pricing appears to remain more moderate.
I'd highly recommend you re-consider TeamViewer. Their pricing is reasonable considering that you basically pay for unlimited endpoints. I agree, Logmein's pricing is beyond ridiculous! Also, you will find that having been a Logmein user, you will appreciate the speed and efficiency of connecting to endpoints with TeamViewer. It's so much faster to get into a PC than Logmein. I used to be a Logmein fan and even used their Logmein Rescue platform which I quite liked, but once I started getting used to TeamViewer, I've never looked back. I've tried others but keep coming back to TeamViewer because of the ease of use, and speed that one can connect to end points with.

I'm sure you'll find that their pricing isn't that bad if you are planning to use it regularly, and if it's a core application that your business use and need for income. If you are not planning to use it regularly, then I can understand the reluctance.

Since you have been a Logmein user, try give TeamViewer a call and see if they will offer you a discount for making the switch. I was able to secure a 50% discount for my subscription for Business, and then also when I switched over to Premium. (Can't guarantee  you will get the same, but it's worth a try).

ASKER

Looking at SolarWinds Take Control for $18 bucks a month for 50 end points.

Looks like they acquired Dameware.
