Custom formatting excel

Hi,

Currently, I am using the following custom formatting:

[Magenta]"Err";[Magenta]"Err";[Blue]"OK"

I want to build a custom formatting so that I can change color of the text based on whether it is TRUE or FALSE.
So if an IF statement gives TRUE, I want it to write "OK" in Blue. If an IF statement gives FALSE, I want it to write "Err" in Magenta.

Thanks

Use Conditional Formatting, not Number Formatting.

As mentioned above you need Conditional Formatting rather than Custom Format.

Custom Formatting tends to be used for numbers and has four sections but only one format can be applied to each section:

Positive Value; Negative Value; Zero Value; Text
