Convert and run XP SP2 on a Win2012 server as a Hyper-V guest OS

I have a computer that is running WinXP.  Would like to convert this physical computer to a virtual machine and run it on a Win2012 Server as a Hyper-V guest OS.  My questions are:
1. Does Win2012 Hyper-V server support WinXP as a virtual machine?
2. What software can convert this XP to a Hyper-V vm?  I heard of Disk2VHD....has anyone ever done this on an XP service pack 2?

I did this on windows 10 so I think that should work on Windows Server 2012 as well.
Sure it is SP2 not SP3 ?

Version 1 Virtual Machine, Legacy Network adapter, check that the ctrl-left arrow doesn't conflict with your display card (intel) as your get out of vm input capture. FileType= VHD

David, yes, it is SP2.  I was able to convert and I can bootup from Hyper-V Manager.  However, it now asked me to activate WinXP!  I tried to activate via phone and entered the numbers on the screen, but I receive the error msg that this product cannot be activated.
You need to update to SP3 (You can still download SP3 from Microsoft)
Try here for SP3

Microsoft seems to have removed it from their download site.
John, I was able to download from Microsoft catalog site at http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=xp%20service%20pack
Good. So install SP3 and try converting again.
Yes I will.  Not tonight as it is late. Thanks.
Yes. It is late here as well.

Still have not had the chance to continue working on this but to MASQ's point, what is the alternative?  Don't say upgrade to Win7 or 10 because this is not an option right now.
Do you have installation media for XP at SP2 or better that you have a licence for (retail, MSDN etc.)?
It’s possible to convert the OEM install to this and reactivate on the changed hardware.
No way of permanently activate XP.  I was able to temporary activate the XP virtual machine but only for 30 days.  Will have to do this every 30days.
