Scam email

I received what appears to be a scam email today.

I am aware athena is your password. Lets get straight to the purpose. You don't know me and you're probably wondering why you are getting this e-mail? Neither anyone has paid me to investigate you.

actually, I setup a malware on the xxx streaming (adult porn) site and do you know what, you visited this site to experience fun (you know what I mean). When you were viewing video clips, your browser began working as a RDP with a key logger which provided me with accessibility to your display screen as well as cam. Just after that, my software collected all your contacts from your Messenger, FB, and e-mailaccount. And then I made a double-screen video. First part displays the video you were viewing (you've got a fine taste haha . . .), and next part displays the recording of your cam, yea it is you.

You got two different alternatives. Why dont we go through each of these choices in details:

Very first choice is to neglect this email message. In this situation, I will send your very own tape to every one of your contacts and then think about concerning the humiliation you feel. Keep in mind in case you are in an affair, precisely how it would affect?

Next choice is to compensate me $1000. We are going to call it a donation. In this situation, I most certainly will promptly eliminate your video recording. You can carry on with your way of life like this never happened and you will not hear back again from me.

You will make the payment via Bitcoin (if you don't know this, search "how to buy bitcoin" in Google search engine).

BTC Address to send to: 1AXaFkzrHyFCsvDYAjcrXm6oKs1b2BaN5z
[CASE-sensitive, copy & paste it]

If you are making plans for going to the police, surely, this email cannot be traced back to me. I have covered my steps. I am not attempting to charge a fee a huge amount, I wish to be compensated. You have one day in order to make the payment. I have a unique pixel within this email message, and at this moment I know that you have read this email message. If I don't get the BitCoins, I will definately send out your video to all of your contacts including close relatives, coworkers, and so forth. Having said that, if I receive the payment, I'll destroy the recording right away. It's a non:negotiable offer so please do not waste my time & yours by responding to this e mail. If you need evidence, reply  Yeah and I will certainly send out your video to your 8 contacts.

Came from Cherise Martens <oprfelizioieb@outlook.com>

For one thing, I have never used the password "athena" and not have a seen a porn video in the last 15 years, needed to see what my clients are into and out of curiosity. I am not so worried about me but if my clients got this email (some of them do watch porn) I think that may get worried and even possibly pay it.

I would like to send them an alert to delete and ignore it if they should receive an email like this. Do you agree?
Thanks,
Mags

Thanks guys! I appreciate your information and will alert my clients. As most of them are seniors and have fallen for scams.
Great. Always teach them!  Young or old.  Knowledge or not.  The threat is always changing.  And they get trickyer and better at filling people.  And even if they don't get better at it someone will fall for it.  And one less person who doesn't fall for it and has learned is less money in the pockets of these scammers.
