Replacing KVM Keyboard

I have some bad keys on the keyboard of an HP KVM unit (LCD8500). The actual HP replacement part # includes the screen, so is fairly expensive. Wondering if anyone has ever tried to replace just the keyboard (i.e. take apart) one of these things? What keyboard did you use?

I know it's a ton simpler just to plug in an external keyboard, but I have to cover all the options.

Unfortunately after some searching, I was unable to find just a PN for the keyboard.

776634-001 is the PN for the LCD/Keyboard/mouse assembly.

I was able to locate a disassembly guide, but took me a while.

It looks like the keyboard can be replaced by itself.
I do not have one of these to take this unit down to the keyboard.  You might be able to get a specific PN or Model number for the keyboard if you can take it apart?

Otherwise I have exhausted my search at this time.  I'll continue to do more research.
cheaper and easyer just to buy a new keyboard.

Ask the seller how they got the keyboard/mouse out,

BTW, which country's keyboard layout do you need?

Need US keyboard. I have reached out to that seller, thanks! Will update once I hear more.
Great Good luck.  Hopefully the seller will respond.  Another suggestion to ask is if you can get REAL pictures of the unit that he is selling.  That way you can decide if the keyboard that is on this unit is better than what you have.  Maybe the letters on the keys have worn off.  Or is dirty or something to that extent, if you decide to buy from this particular seller as well.
P/N is MP-11N13US-6571 3100001-001 B0AGA8O09I but they are tricky to come by.

I see what you mean. Mostly from China by the looks of it. It seems to confirm an idea I had that it is the same keyboard as used in a laptop.

Were you not able to dismantle it down to the Keyboard/touchpad and see if there was a separate part number?  Just curious...I don't have one or I would do it myself.

Hmm, this whole helpfulness slider is new... Interesting.

Anyway, to wakeup's question. The KVM is still in use so I can't take it apart yet. I'll do that once the replacement comes in.
Ok fair enough.  I would probably imagine once you get it to that point you can see what the PN is.  Hopefully you can then go from there and find a replacement.  Unfortunately again I do not have one to tear into otherwise I'd be glad to do it!  I love deconstructing computers/laptops/tablets/phones! :)
They are a right PITA to replace, even if it is the whole unit. HPE have lovely drawings in the user guide on how to rack them but with a server above and below plus side panels on the rack you have to be a contortionist. Hopefully you have a U free above it for wiggle room.
