I need to link to a visual Foxpro table in MS access

I need to link an access database to what i think is a visual foxpro table the data is from an accounting program in foxpro
which is called Pegasus Opera version 2

I have managed to convert the table into a csv format then into MS ACCESS  but I could do with a live link if possible

Many Thanks

The .dbf format is typically a DBase file. You can import or link those files in Access:

https://support.office.com/en-us/article/link-to-or-import-from-dbase-f0900e08-b230-482d-b97c-235f154c1284
This is going to depend on what version of Access you are running as well as the build.  I think it was A2013 that didn't support linking to .dbf files at all and early releases of A2016 also did not but later releases of A2016 do.  They are like every other ODBC table.  You can update the linked table provided it has a primary key or unique index.
That you cannot do with the current version of Access 2016.

Even though the file carries the DBF extension, and Access 2016 can link/import dBase III/IV/5 files, Access 2016 won't recognise the format of the file you have attached.

The file you attached:   2_SNAME.DBF    cannot be opened because it must have one or more Memo fields in its table structure.
Those Memo fields require another file which would be named:  2_SNAME.FPT   which holds the contents of the DBF's Memo fields.
Without that FPT file, the DBF file will not open for examination.
