Logo in Email Signature not displayed for recipients

Exchange 2013 + Outlook 2016 + OWA

I have a company logo, a JPG and PNG that I want to add to my email signature.

In testing, when I add it to my signature in OWA, it displays properly when composing a new email, when I send it, it is visible in Outlook 2013/2016 BUT it shows as an X in the recipients OWA...

What could be causing the signature logo to no appear in OWA?

Thanks

How are you inserting the image? Is it a part of the email or a link to a local file?

Do the recipients have you in a trusted senders list? Are the prompted to download pictures in the message?
Sounds like it's not embedding the image but instead trying to create a link to the image.

As the image is likely stored locally on your network you can see it fine but recipients won't be able to access the actual image, so it's displayed as a red x instead for them.
the image must be accessible via the internet or you will get the red x

Thanks for the responses guys, we don't have a link on a site, the images are displayed fine in the Outlook client, but just not in OWA.

Basically, its a jpg or png logo thatssaved locally, then inserted into the signature in OWA and saved there as the default email signature.

This will also happen if I am sending an email from myself to myself, it shows when being sent, but not displayed once removed.
Christian, it is NOT being inserted into the signature in OWA - that's your whole problem. Do you have any web space available where you could place this image? Even a public folder on a cloud service could work.
I'm stumped then, how it is displayed in the same recipients Outlook client, just not in their OWA.
