asked on

Intranet site multiple domains.

I have an asp.net intranet site that uses windows authentication. The site is hosted on an IIS server running windows server 2008 t2

I want users from one of my trusted windows domains to be able to login but it will only allow users from the domain the IIS server is on  to authenticate.

Is there a setting in IIS or webconfig I need to adjust?

Thanks

I needed to also add the allow to authenticate security feature to the computer for the domain user accounts in the trust domains
This is because you have configured trust with selective authentication

Go to trust properties and change authentication type to domain wide authentication so that you don't need to add "Allowed to Authenticate" on server accounts for users in trusted domains
Great point. Thank you. I will change
