VC 5.5 WebClient With Empty Inventory Inside & Error MSG -"Could not connect to one or more vCenter Server systems: https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:443/sdk"

VMware vCenter 5.5 web login  coming Empty inventory Error reflecting is : "Could not connect to one or more vCenter Server systems: https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:443/sdk"

VC 5.5 is running on windows 2008 and database is Sql2008  running on other server [both are vm running on esxi same host]
Telnet is Fine
DB Test is Fine
Services are fine
But Noting visible under vc inventory.
Did Server reboot and issue got fixed but repeated again after 4 days.

Pls help to locate if issue is with Network/DB/SSL or VC itself


Not able to locate much detail to apply appropriate fix

did you restart vCenter Server and WAIT 30 minutes ?  -Yes i have bounced and wait time after reboot was approx 20-25 min to get vc service up -which is set as automatic delayed

do you have a simple vSphere environment ?

e.g.

no Distributed Switches
no NSX
no SRM
no VDP
no VR

DV Switch is there ,But No NSX/SRM/VDP/VR
TSM /TDP Backup is there in use for VM backup

I would refer this issue to VMware Support.

Easiest method is to restore from backup or re-install vCenter Server but your DV switch may give issues.

Were you able to login to thick client when webclient is empty? Is the problem only seen with webclient.. If yes inventory service is the culprit

but seems no duplicate entry found...

@Murali Sripada -which thick client ? -everything is fine except vc login with empty inventory

VM Support is  yet not able to locate root cause behind it ,looks like need go with fresh re install
