Printing from Chromebooks.
I have a Ricoh Mp 6055 copier and i would like to push out this copier to the chromebooks. I am following the instructions on https://support.google.com /chrome/a/ answer/727 6100?hl=en
But when i print from the chromebook i just get the hour glass and nothing prints. Im on the same network as the Printer.

If you are getting the hour glass on the printer, it's possible that you are sending PCL to a printer that is set to expect PostScript. The reverse (PostScript to a PCL printer) would print reams of PostScript code. PostScript's default is to ignore the rest of the job if a single invalid character is received. And with PCL, the first character received is already wrong.

By default, CUPS (the printing system for Mac, Linux and ChromeOS) will use a Postscript driver.
However, Ricoh copiers do not usually have Postscript enabled by default (it is a paid for Option), so you need to use a PCL driver.
