How to use command line to download web page file?
I'd like to have a command line solution, maybe python, but am open to other solutions/utilities.
Frequently, I manually download an excel file from a webpage. It requires me to first logon.
Hovering my mouse over the link doesn't show anything, i.e. to give a clue to the link.
Picking the link opens another page.
The page's link address is: https://website.com/V006498/FileDownload.htm?item=SomeRandomNumber
Then, a dialog pops up asking to download the file w/ OK prompt.
If possible, I'd like to run this as a scheduled task.
