Single Item Recovery from PST - Exchange 2010

Hi guys, I have a question about PST archiving. If a user sends an email and archives that email immediately, will that email appear in message tracking logs ? And how will single item recovery or a backup solution such as veeam treat that email ? Can we recover that email in Exchange 2010 ?

Hi Amit, thanks for your response. So the reason I asked this question is that I am trying to find an email which had an important document. User A claims that he sent to User B. User B says that he never received it. User A does not have the email in his sent items, or deleted items or permanently deleted items, neither does User B.

I'm having a hard time trying to explain the management how the email got disappeared as they completely trust both users. I was thinking what if User A archived it right away.
In this case, if you have mailbox level auditing enabled, then you can track, what action user performed. If mailbox level auditing not enabled, I doubt you can do much. If your management not agree, show my response to them.
Were you able to find any trace of the email at all using the message tracking tools?
