Compare 2 columns And Compare 3 columns (one with others 2)
Compare 2 columns for unique value. I have columns A B and they all contain the same information I think. I would like to highlight the rows where A and B don't match.
Row Column A Column B
1 3/27/18 3/27/18
2 7/9/18 0
3 No Match Critical
4 1082455 1082455
In this example rows 2 and 3 would be highlighted or the Cells that don't match would be highlighted
Additionally, if I wanted to compare 3 columns how would I Highlight the odd cell?
Row Column A Column B
1 3/27/18 3/27/18
2 7/9/18 0
3 No Match Critical
4 1082455 1082455
In this example rows 2 and 3 would be highlighted or the Cells that don't match would be highlighted
Additionally, if I wanted to compare 3 columns how would I Highlight the odd cell?

Can you and how would you use conditional formatting to compare 3 columns instead of the VBA?
if I wanted to compare 3 columns how would I Highlight the odd cell?Do you mean when value in one cell is different from two other cells?
ASKER
Yes
Say your data is in the range A1:C4 then select the range A1:C4 and make a new rule for conditional formatting using the formula given below...
=COUNTIF($A1:$C1,A1)=1

THANKS
You're welcome again!
For future reference, once your question is answered you can open a new one so you can award the points he got for answering 2 questions :)
That's okay Jose as the second question was also included in the original question. :)
Ohh I see! :P it's just one question for posting :) so everyone with the same problem can be able to query and resolve the problem its problem with the helpful answers haha! :)
You are right. The second question was a good candidate for a standalone question as it was a good question and might help others as well.
