Browsing Exchange Mail via iOS Device

Issue:
One of my C-suites is "requesting" (aka requirement) that we be able to browse the entire history via phone. We currently have MaaS360 Secure Mail which holds up to two weeks of emails but this c-suite was trying to browse for mail that was from several months ago. The C-suite then showed me the personal iPhone (Yahoo mail via POP/IMAP) and said that they can view years worth of email by just scrolling. I argued that the email is just being downloaded to the phone so that the phone can search/browse/list. Not really an answer so that didn't go too well.
I'm not sure if there's anything out there that helps us in this situation? I did try looking/downloading the MS Outlook iOS mail app to the phone. When browsing through the Inbox folder, it does stop and say "Load more convo" which doesn't really work. Using webmail (OWA on the phone) works but isn't a permanent solution.
Our current mail client, Maas360's Secure Mail, has some issues -- searching capabilities (really) sucks but Secure Mail does leverage some enterprise features (additional mailboxes, calendars, tasks) that some other mail clients can't support. Also allows for BYOD. The really bad side of MaaS360 is that support is terrible (IBM).
Any ideas or suggestions (minus bringing back old BES servers) would be very helpful. Thanks in advance!
