How to restrict to folder access in Windows Server 2008
Hello Experts,
We've created remote desktop users in windows server 2008 R2 Standard & every user have an own folder in D: drive, how to restrict to folder access to user among themselves along with d: drive. Only one folder everyone can access e.g. D:\FTP.

Is this server joined to AD domain ? You can restrict user access by providing permission from Security Tab.

AD not configured over there, need to configure permission manually.
So if no AD, and you're using RDP to server you must create all users as local server users, put them to one single group and create permissions for this group
AD or no AD, you still do it by providing permission from Security Tab.
- Create a local user account for each user
- Create a local group and add all these users into it
- Create FTP folder. Edit security. Remove Creator Owner, Users and add the new group with "List Folder" permission to only FTP
- Create a folder for each user. Remove Creator Owner, Users and add the correct user account with modify permissions
