Multi-Lingual Code in NetBeans
Hi Experts,
In NetBeans, is there a way to use Multi-Language characters in your code? I guess, unicode?
Example:
When I paste the Tamil, i just get squares.
Thanks.

I am using Netbeans 8.2
I changed the font to Courier New and Cyrilic works, but not Tamil or Mandarin.

Do you have any free Tamil fonts installed on your machine? Maybe you already have them, please use if any of those are preinstalled on your computer. Which O/S are you using? maybe try to get a compatible font and see if it works.

I use Windows 7, and under the regular notepad I can paste Tamil text.
Notepad is using Lucida Console, and when I change to this font in Netbeans it still shows squares.

Thank you!
Which version of Netbeans you are using? And have you tried changing the font in the IDE that supports Unicode?
