Request for a referral for a UPS

Looking for a referral for a UPS for a small office server running MS Windows Server 2016 Standard x64 on a Dell Service Tag: 62DMRP2

The client is in an office building and he is a small CPA firm with a total of 4 employees.

We would like a recommendation for a UPS that will do the following:

1. powering off the server prior to the battery being depleted during an interruption of power
2. sending an email to us when an event happens such as the power went off, or the server was powered down, or powering back on
3. powering back up when the power is restored
4. logging all events

Thanks in advance

Would recommend APC as suggested in the comment above. Also a user myself.

MGE, Eaton are also good options.

They have the capabilities you're looking for!

what are you hoping to achieve is the first question I would ask.
1) placing the server on UPS is oe thing, the other is what the end goal is that you hope to achieve with the UPS. Do you want the office to continue to operate during a power outage. at which point how long do you want this setup to cover.
2) potentially you only want the UPS on the server to provide for a controlled shutdown.
3) how is the system connected does it get power from two different sources o cover a loss of a single phase in the office.
a 1500 VA UPs  with a single connection from the server should keep the server operational or about 40 minutes.

Most UPS's will do. usually they have a one or two year battery life.... some APC the batteries are replaceable...
the others often are cheap so battery replacement does not make sense in terms of cost...

Unfamiliar with other mentioned, the APC UPS1500 and higher commonly will function if the battery needs to be replaced (hot replacement) i.e. you can separate the battery cartridge from the UPS while powered up and the system running........ to then replace the batteries within the cartridge.

In your server if one is connected to UPS while the other is direct from the wall, in a single phase failure, you would need to switch the UPS to the operational phase or the ups will direct the server to shutdown unnecessarily in his scenario when the remaining battery is within the set time from 5-10 minutes...

Thank you for the responses. I will be checking out APC for the model that you mentioned and see if it fills my clients needs.
As for what is the purpose, it is only to do a controlled shutdown and report. The client wants to know when his server is powered off, because they have had several lost of power events in the past few months due to the weather and he travels a lot. If he is out of town, he needs to know that it is down, was powered down safely and that we as his service provider also know. And when the power returns, we want it to power the server back up and alert us that also, so that we do not have to dispatch someone to the site to power it back on.
Thanks for the update.
