How to transfer files from android to desktop win 10

I have a Dell 5810 workstation. I just added a usb bluetooth plug/dongle. My goal is to transfer photos that I took with my android cell to a folder on the 5810. I am sure it is a darn simple thing to do, but not without any instructions. I am lost. The product is  a Zexmte bluetooth module. It does say that the computer and the cell are connected. I just don't know how to proceed from here.

Experts, please note that I must get some sleep so will be unable to try your suggestions for a few hours. But try them I will as soon as I am available. The reason for needing this ability is that frequently I take perhaps 30 or 40 shots of one vehicle and need easily get them onto my desktop without the removal of the micro sd card. My phone is a Samsung S9+

Despite the bluetooth technology the simplest and quickest is to grab a micro USB cable, plug phone into USB port on the laptop, get a prompt on your phone screen to allow file transfers and then it appears in Windows as an extra drive with all your images available to copy & paste.

Suggest you leave the bluetooth and just go “old school” with a cable.

Both solutions work equally well I am finding out. My preference is using bluetooth because the file transfers are a bit "trick" at fairly impressive speeds. Thanks to both experts for their assistance. I appreciate it!
