first link brings me to download driver Agent - an update utilityi d like to find something, the camera is still in its unopened package
nobus, you are probably aware that the Canyon Home Page and driver/software is not available on their own site, though the still make newer cams. Canyon does not have the original drivers for the CN-WCAM23, which I believe was released in November 2003, driver 4.2.1126.72

Although Canyon does have a Tech Support page with a form for help: http://canyon.eu/ask-your-question/ - On the Site Diver Guide, it's drivers for, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 98, on that page is another search box for Drivers on this product, which takes you to how to upgrade to Windows 10: https://www.driverguide.com/driver/company/Canyon/Camera/index.html

I looked at a help site "Espo CRM" The second post has the work Link (which is a Link just by clicking on the word "Link", it takes you to a page which says, "Your file is ready", however, nowhere does it say it's for the CN-WCAM23, only says Driver for PC camera canyon. Another says it requires a Credit Card, though it's free, the Credit Card is either for long-term use or to verify you are not a Bot. Help site is here: http://jennadanielsgolf.com/lifestyle/driver-for-pc-camera-canyon.php - Second comment dated October 24, 2017.

You said the Cam is still in the box, have you connected the camera to a PC or Laptop to test whether or not it will work? Let me know if this is of no help.
The last link is for the site itself, not the driver, the actual page is: http://adcarfo.info/?key=driver%20for%20pc%20camera%20canyon#member/4-yurikuzn and search for CN-WCAM 23

thanks for the info - it looks not so simple to find it
i tried your last link, and a search gave me this :
User generated image
i tried clciiking on the LINK iand it asked me to register for PayPal ????

so - what now? anyway, thanks for trying to help
Sorry nobus, I have just now returned from a two-day seminar I did on some new Tech. On that link, where it takes one to Pay-Pal, there is a cancellation policy of 30 days.

But I can understand your not wanting to use a pay site for what you're looking for may not be there. Then going through having to cancel. That looks to be a 2003 model cam, there is bound to be Software/Drivers somewhere. Since the Company is still in business, perhaps you or myself can use the contact form for support and see if they have what you need to get it working. http://canyon.eu/ask-your-question

I do use some Legacy Software on Windows 10 Pro that still works...I am not ready to give up. Thank you for your patience.

wlennon - no more ideas?
Sorry for the delay, I take it the http://canyon.eu/ask-your-question was of no help. I did find a Free Driver Scan for your camera if there is a driver for your Canyon CN-WCAM23 I would try a site called Driver Simple. Some third-party drivers I have found could cause your PC a lot of trouble from reading some of the comments while digging deeper into research. I think the various Driver sites are your last best hope, there is this one, it does not say if there is a charge if it finds your driver, but the scans are free, and there is one for your Cam at  Imaging Devices - VIMICRO - CANYON CN-WCAM23 PC-Camera Computer Driver Updates https://www.drivermax.com/driver/update/Imaging-Devices/VIMICRO/CANYON-CN-WCAM23-PC-Camera/%201 the latest I saw as 2007, Driver Simple may be a better choice: http://www.driversimple.net/Camera-MP3-Player/Canyon-Cn-WCAM23

Just for the record, I use an independent Uninstaller. I've been using this program/drive uninstaller called Advanced Uninstaller PRO from Innovative Solutions, it removes much more than Windows Uninstaller does, after removing a program with the software, it will ask you if you want to clean up the extra files, always use it. This program also allows you to back up your registry before installing a program in the event something fails, you can reinstall your last registry. I also make a copy of the registry before cleaning unused files that clutter the registry. I look at it as a fail-safe. I forget what the free version does: https://www.innovative-sol.com/advanced-uninstaller-pro
