want to make copy of harddrive
I have a 64GB usb memory stick that I want to make a image of my C:.
What is best way to do this. It doenst have to be bootable

Acronis, Ghost and other like tools especially if the USB Key does not need to boot. Start with Acronis

i have used paragon software- free for doing this
however, before starting, check how much space is occupied on your PC, as Dr Klahn suggested !

I prefer the truly free and Opensource RedoBackup tool which is basically a GUI for partclone (also used in CloneZilla)

The Macrium Free is another good tool. It compresses the data to save space.
