Need to publish a photo library on the web

I need a mobile friendly way to show 50-100 of my photos on the web, and be able to customize various search methods for users to search quickly through the images.

What tools are there?

In the long run, I will use my website to host these. In the short run I need convenience and speed to market.

I would pay a small monthly fee if there were a few with advanced features.

I just realized, Facebook could be a great place for this.

Thanks

Yes. I have friends in Facebook who put photo albums there.
Instagram is another place, but I prefer Facebook for this.

But are these photo just in a simple folder? Can they be organized and/or searched by various criteria?

Yes. Looking at this now on my mobile phone. Photos, Uploads and Albums. So yes you can organize.

I mean can I put up 25 image, for example, in a particular order. But I have three related to topic #1 and five related to topic #2.

So, the user can select a topic and see only a filtered list?

This would mean a image can have N topics associated with it, so that the library can be grouped in numerous ways...

You would have to experiment with a computer (not aa phone) to see if it fits your need until you can create a website

I am interested in Facebook because I only want to show these photos to people who have liked the page. But if I find another web tool to host the images I could hide that URL until the have liked my page. Any other choices that come to mind?

So, I am not married to Facebook. I need more features and would write my own web page if needed, sooner than planned.

The two big ones here are Instagram and Facebook.

Here is a list

I used to use Flickr but gave it some time ago.

I would recommend against using Facebook to host photos. They like to compress and resize them too much.

I haven't used Flickr much myself, but it's what comes to my mind for this kind of thing.
