How to change the font used to title program thumbs.
I'm using Windows 2007. When I hover over the programs shown in the lower bar, a thumb pops up describing it, and sometimes thumbs pop up for all of the programs down there, as shown in the attached image. How can I change the font used in the title of these thumbs? The small white text is too hard to read.
Thanks

Yes. Sorry. Windows 7. The issue is I need to know which thumb to click to bring up the program I want, so I need to read the program's name at the top of each thumb. With all the OS settings, it seems like there must be one that will at least change the color of the title from white to black.
I can read the Title bar of your screen shot above. I go by Titles.

Yes, I can read them too. But the white text on the light gray background makes me have to squint to find the one I want to open. Black text would just make my life easier, I do this so often.
I don't think you can change the colours or background do you will likely just have to use as is. Windows 10 is much easier (to me) in this regard
steva, i wonder if you have read my solution above, since you did not comment on it :
a simple solution to read it is using the magnifying glass - start it with windows key + plus sign

An even easier solution is to hold CTRL and click on the group to cycle through them

The magnefier didn't work for me. As soon as you hit the Wndows key all the popped up thumbs collapse. And holding the CTRL key and cycling through them is way harder than just squinting a bit. So, I'll just live with it. Thanks for you inputs.
it should work, see : https://www.techsupportalert.com/content/how-use-windows-7-magnifier-make-computer-screen-easier-see.htm
if it does not work - run sfc /scannow
, or a repair nstall

As noted, I can see the titles. May consider a lower screen resolution or just live with it as you say.
