"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Then just setup a new account, with your outgoing email address set to... + select the new From: address of anytime you like.

1) Create a user on your server called name2 and give that a user a password.

2) Setup a new email account on Thunderbird with the aforementioned login credentials.

3) Use the same incoming (pop/imap) and outgoing (smtp) server as your first email.

3) While in Thunderbird click "write" then select the "From" bar and select the email address you want to use. Then send your email as name2
