Need a web cam for live streaming

I need a web cam for live streaming my video image to my Mac, for use in a live webinar.

I may place it on a tripod since the top of my monitor may be a bit low. So, I think I need a conventionally sized screw hole at the bottom of the device.

I need it to be high enough quality so that my webinar looks good.

What kind of resolution do I need?

What kinds of features are useful?

I expect to buy on eBay.

Any suggestions from this page?

Thanks.

Many folks are now using Logitech - 4K Pro Webcams, which I have on my list to test.

Available from Best Buy or Amazon for around $200 USD.

Stick with Logitech, as they produce great gear. I you can get by with lower resolution, just pick one of their 922 or 930 models.

To be honest, I tend to steer clear of Ebay because of a plethora of fakes, when you buy tech the cost counts.

The webcam mentioned before is the same one we use in the office, they are incredible. But I would go to a reliable retailer instead of ebay.

what technical specs should I look for? I really do not want to spend anywhere near $200 at this point.

What kind of resolution might I need for a live webinar?

Logitech Webcam C930e Web camera is £85, would that be better?
