Acrobat Pro, Open the Document, Tools, Organize Pages and you can move pages as you wish. I do this frequently
ASKER
when I click on
tools->organize pages
I choose 1 out of 20 pages
and then only see 1 page
I want to compare page 5 of pdf1 and page 17 of pdf2
organize stops comparison
I can only see page 5 of pdf1

You would need to combine the PDF's to do this into one PDF file. When you combine, make sure you can see all the pages

there are 2 pdf files
which I am comparing
which I am comparing
You have to open ONE in Acrobat and rearrange pages with the Organize tool. Save the result.
Then close and open the OTHER and rearrange pages, save the result.
Now compare the files side by side in Acrobat.
Now compare. If the PDF files are good files, the Organize tool will work. It always does for me.
