We are having an issue when a meeting request gets sent to people at work, when they open the meeting request attachment on their iPhones using the general mail app, they get the following error "Cannot download attachment"

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Likely what's occurred is the .ics file was created on someone's local computer, referencing some local file as an attachment.

This means... the .ics file will always say "Cannot download attachment" when opened on another machine, because the attachment doesn't exist.

Likely Fix: Place any .ics references on the Web somewhere + reference them via a clickable URL.
