"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Outlook, open file, choose the account and Change.  This opens the Account Setup Screen.  Click on More Settings.  The last tab is where ports an security live.

OK thanks. So it gets a bit more complicated (Outlook 2016).

Make sure you know how to set up your account and where your OST files are.

Go to Control Panel, Mail and delete the Outlook Profile.

Restart the computer.

Now go back to Control Panel, Mail, and make a new account here (not in Outlook). Make sure you select IMAP and not Exchange (ease error to make), and make sure you do NOT use the Wizard. Set up the Account and you should now be able to set Security in the More Settings panel.
