userform textboxvalue to inactive sheet cell

Hi there,
in my workbook if I press the combination of ctrl and u, the Userform will pop up. my question here is: is there a possibilty of writing a text into the textbox of the userform which then transfers the textbox.value to an inactive sheet and its cell? If the cell is not blank it does some kind of offset? I'm trying to avoid activate or select since I heard it's not good for the performance. More important is I am trying to transfer the text of the userform to a range of cells in an inactive sheet.
Thank you

You need to use the sheet's name, e.g this will write yexybox1 to A1 in Sheet1

sheet1.Cells(1,1).value=Me.TextBox.value
