Encrypt VM vcenter

Good afternoon

Currently in vmware version 6.5, where it offers encryption options.

Is it advisable to encrypt the server where I have installed the vcenter?

If I decide to encrypt it, would it have any kind of inconvenience?

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

FIRST STOP:- And ask do you need to encrypt your VMs ?

Are you ESXi servers, and datastore at risk ?

Checkout the following links, which detail, Advantages and Disadvantages, and remember Backups are not Encrypted only files on the datastore ?

https://blogs.vmware.com/vsphere/2016/10/whats-new-in-vsphere-6-5-security.html

vCenter Server cannot be encrypted on the same infrastructure, because if you cannot start it, you cannot get the keys to decrypt. VMs

So there is a warning here lose vCenter Server and .....

If you are going to enable Encryption, please TEST TEST TEST and TEST and do not enable on Production Servers, until you really understand it....

e.g. if your admin leaves the company with the password.....

What do you do ?
