Connection Closed Gracefully email server error message?
We have two locations that are able to send reports via email through a Report Generator program and smtp and two that can not. Settings are identical. Getting an error message that that times out saying Connection Closed Gracefully. Seems common answers point to an issue with the port designation. Using our old ATT email addresses (ex-Kurt@sbcglobal.net) and going through the smtp.att.yahoo.com mail server on port 465, TLS enable. Tried port 587 with TLS and 25 port without TLS, no luck. When using port 25, no error message is received, but the email never gets delivered either.
Gmail addresses are also available for each location as well if you think we'd have better luck with their mail server, although I could not get them to work at all. May be worth mentioning the systems which are working are Win10, those not working are Win7.
Thanks for thinking about it!

The report generator has worked great for years on every system. Except the export by email feature.
Each location has it's own address, but all run through sbcglobal.net with the same port number.
Thanks-

Okay good, that's what I was looking to find out
The error indicates the remote server is closing the connection. The question is why
Are the two working systems using "smtp.att.yahoo.com" as well?
Are all 4 systems on the same network?
If not get the external IP's for the two systems that are not working, and verify their IP's are not black listed

All are using the smtp.att.yahoo.com, all four send mail through the same Charter/Spectrum internet provider.
Did experiment with the two problem locations by changing over to their gmail addresses and smtp.gmail.com
with no luck. System almost immediately popped the same error message, where the att.yahoo.com takes
about 30 seconds before the message appears.
