Outlook contact issue

Hi Experts,

I do have a customer who is running into a weird situation. John Doe is unable access a shared contact in Outlook. This contact was shared by Mary Doe who is no longer with the company.

Do you have any ideas on how to resolve this issue?

Recreated the outlook profile did not help at all

The user is getting following error:

We can't complete this because we can't contact the server right now. Please try again later.

Is Mary Doe's machine still available? If so, open Shared Contacts in Outlook on her machine and ensure that John Doe has the necessary permissions to open shared contacts she created.
If the above does not work, make a backup of the Exchange mailbox and import the contacts from the backup to John Doe's Outlook Contacts.
