Best dashboard iPhone X mounts

What are the best mounts for mounting an iPhone X to my car's dashboard so that I can follow my iPhone X's GPS navigation?

This must be a dashboard mount that I can easily move between cars since I drive several different cars. I also want it to be easy to detach and reattach my iPhone X to such a mount since I take my iPhone X with me wherever I go. I am looking for a mount that I can put on top of my dashboard and not one that attaches to the air vents, etc.

Let me know what the best mounts are that I can buy online or through Amazon.

I like this one:

The suction cup is pretty slick!  I can't find the one I have exactly.  But this one is very close to the one I have.  If I find mine I'll link it.

I purchased it at Fry's Electronics a few years back, and should be big enough to hold the iPhone X.  It barely holds my Samsung Galaxy S9+ with the case on it.  So should hold your iPhone X.

I mean my phone fits and all and it holds well.  It just Barely fits.  Been using mine on a 'rough' curved dashboard not smooth.  And I do not need the special flat disc to mount on the dash first.

OK I found out the brand of mine is iOttie.

I can't seem to find my exact model.  But this one seems to be fairly close:

Unfortunately I was unable to take a picture of it with my phone in.  But hopefully that gives you an idea of how it mounts and if you look at the front of the suction cup area, you can see that the front of it is not fully making contact with the dash because it is not flat but rounded.  And also the dash is rough.  Has divots that are there.  I really enjoy this one.  I've had several dash mounts and this one I really like this model.

They also have a dashboard mounting pad:
https://www.amazon.com/iOttie-Adhesive-Dashboard-Flexible-Surfaces/dp/B074DYBQ9L/ref=sr_1_2?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1535749669&sr=1-2&keywords=iottie+dashboard+pad&dpID=31GUd7zi7QL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch

That you can use with almost any other suction cup style dashboard mount it seems.  So if these ones don't tickle your fancy, you can find another and use this 'semi permanent' pad with other products.  Also you can purchase several to mount on your dashboards of multiple vehicles.  So it might be easier to remove the actual dashboard device and move it between the multiple vehicles you have leaving the pad behind.

Let us know if we are in the ballpark for what you are looking for.  Or if you need more options.  Or if we are totally off and need something different.
