Mail icon is not opening

Dear expert,

I was having o365 64 bit installed on my laptop. Recently, outlook not responding when I send a new email or reply or forward. I tried the following but still freezing when I press send button:
-Quick repair
-Online Repair
I was only able to send email successfully when I create a new profile. I had created 3 profiles on the past week.
It is so annoying.
I have reinstalled o365 32 bit. I went to the control panel to delete old profile but I was not able to open Mail icon as you show in the screen shot.

Thank you in advance.

Hi

Does the same happen with the local version of office and not the 355 version?

If you run outlook in safe mode does the same freezing occur?

I tried safe mode and it was freezing as well.
I ran Malwarebytes then superanti spywere and they caught some cookies and 2 virus. I deleted all these cookies and viruses but it still freezing.
I am wondering what makes it is working when I create a new profile for 4 hours then it is start freezing again.

Try the following:   Make a new, test, Windows User Profile (Account) using Users and Groups.  Log into the new Windows Account, set up Outlook and test Outlook in the new Windows Account).

Also does "Created to a new profile" mean a new Windows Profile?  Be sure you try a new Windows Profile as a test.

Dear all,
I think my question is clear. I want to open mail setup that is located on control panel. I am only able to open it through C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Root\Office16

Your question is clear and I understand it.

Now MY question is:  Did you try a new WINDOWS Profile to see if Outlook, and Control Panel work in the new Windows Profile?

Thank you.
Opening a new windows profile is the last time I am gonna take. I have created a new outlook profile and it did not solve the issue.
I solved the issue by reinstalling the O365 32 bit. It is working perfectly until this moment.

My question is how can I repair the mail icon on control panel?

It should work fine and if not, that is why I suggest a new Windows Profile. Office is susceptible to profile damage and is normally not repairable.

Excuse me, I believe there is a way to repair it.
I will keep looking for a solution before creating a new profile.

Thank you for your suggestion.

Once a Windows Profile has been damaged, I have not (in years at this stuff) seen a workable or reliable way to repair them.

Good luck with looking for a solution

Sam,
You need a complete removal of office on that machine and reinstall.
1.  Go to this link below, go down to option 2 and download the tool  and run it.
https://support.office.com/en-us/article/uninstall-office-from-a-pc-9dd49b83-264a-477a-8fcc-2fdf5dbf61d8

2.  Go to this link download the trial version of Revo uninstaller PRO- use advanced mode and let it scrub any left over files from Microsoft Office-  https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html

View pages 16-19 for removing left over files from office

3. Reinstall Office

Thank you for your reply.
I had uninstalled 0365 64 bit with that tool. I did not Revo because I removed the registery manually.

The problem would not happen if reinstalled o365 64bit.
