Outlook Configuration
Hello,
I can't configure Outlook on the computers. When I try to add a user account for usinf Outlook,it gives me a message: "we're sorry, we couldn't set up your account automatically...." as in the attachment here.
When I try to connect via webmail, it works very well.
If anyone has any leads...
I remain available for any further information
thanks in advance!

Are you using Office 365 for emails as well as the office application? As noted above, it sounds like autodiscover is not setup/working.
If so, ensure you have a CNAME dns record pointing for autodiscover.yourdomain.co m to resolve to autodiscover.outlook.com. This needs to be on your external DNS and (if you have a split-brain dns setup) your internal dns server as well.
You can use the MS Remote Connectivity Analyzer to test autodiscover in general: https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com/
If it works on there you will need to run a local test by ctrl+right-clicking in the outlook icon on your notification area on the taskbar and click Test Email Autoconfiguration - put in the details required and see if it brings up any information.

If not Exchange, try opening Outlook /Profiles to get to the Profile Window and set the Account up manually (no Wizard).

Hi Edward
Users are on Office 365. As the webmail works I assumed that everything was well configured.
The site where the problem occurs is a remote site. I don't manage AD , DNS, Exchange servers. I work with local IT. I asked the network team to check all DNS records.

Hi Andy M,
I asked the network team to check as you mentioned if there is a CNAME DNS record pointing to autodiscover.leurdomain.co m to resolve autodiscover.outlook.com.
I used the MS Remote Connectivity Analyzer to test autodiscover and I had some error messages.
I didn't dare download the errors file here. But I think it's the autodiscover that doesn't work.
I can't configure Outlook on my computer, I don't have the icon available. But I see the test you're talking about.

Hi John,
All users are on Office 365. I tried to configure Outlook manually but I still get the same message that is attached.

I come just got some information I didn't have in the first place. In fact, the problem concerns outlook 365. on the site, users use outlook 2010, 2013 and 2016 and the autodiscover works correctly with these versions. the problem is therefore with Outlook 365. I don't understand anything anymore and don't know where to look.
