Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 - Certification

I would like to give an opinion on professionals who have a lot of experience in Microsoft Exchange consulting work and always choose projects where the customer wants to migrate to the O365 or have a hybrid environment.

Thinking about it, I thought about deepening my knowledge and studying to take the Microsoft Exchange 2016 exam, would your opinion be worth it or would not it be worth it?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

simple answer is it is always worth it to deepen your understanding of exchange and O365. they are the leading email technologies so you really cant go wrong in my opinion. I actually stop focusing on VMware to focus more on exchange and o365. that is just my opinion.

The knowledge contained in the exam objectives is great. I know this because I helped write some of the exams. :-)

Is there actually value obtained from taking the exam itself? That depends on your particular position. Do your customers value the certification?

You can look at Microsoft's virtual academy that goes through videos for Exchange or you can even look at CBT Nuggets which steps through each thing in detail:
Problems using Powershell and Active Directory?

Managing Active Directory does not always have to be complicated.  If you are spending more time trying instead of doing, then it's time to look at something else. For nearly 20 years, AD admins around the world have used one tool for day-to-day AD management: Hyena. Discover why

Lastly, setup a lab, you need to practice, practice and do some more. you will get familiar with the product and understand it better if you hands on as well.

Thank you very much, I'm on the right track.

I'll start setting up the study schedule, I'll get the official MS e-book along with the CBT Nuggets.
