How do I not indent the first line of a numbered paragraph in LibreOffice
ASKER
Yes, dragging that 'L' tab-stop to the left does work. Also, in Format Paragraph, "Tabs" tab, I can set the 'Left' tab position, although simply dragging is easier. Unfortunately, I have to do this on each numbered paragraph one-by-one. If all or more than one paragraph is selected the tab stops disappear. Also the "Tabs" tab on the Format Paragraph is gone. Seems like a bug. Also seems like the wrong default formatting behavior for numbered paragraphs. Indenting the first line of a numbered paragraph looks silly, especially if some of the numbered items are a single line.

Is there any way to do this without dragging the 'L' tab stop for each numbered paragraph in the document?

I believe if you place your cursor over the little dark right angle located directly above your first letter 'T' in the screenshot above and slide it left you should be good. That little right angle is called the 'first-line indent marker', and you can eliminate that unwanted indent by clicking on that first-line indent marker and sliding it to your left until its in alignment with the rest of your text. I believe you can also right-click a paragraph and choose 'Edit Paragraph Style > Indents & Spacing' to change the indents for all paragraphs that have the same paragraph style. Hope this is helpful!
