asked on

migration of mailboxes from op-prem to office 365 error. Please help!!

i get this error after a test migration Error: MigrationPermanentException: You can‎'t use the domain because it‎'s not an accepted domain for your organization. --> You can‎'t use the domain because it‎'s not an accepted domain for your organization.

please how can i rectify the issue?

on the mailbox i have the following address:
SMTP
aaaaaa@bbbbb.local
aaaaaa@bbbbbb.mail.onmicrosoft.com
aaaaaa@bbbbb.ca

then i have some X500 and X400

Do i need to remove it from the AD server proxy settings as well? Do i do a re sync of AD connect?
no, just remove it from the mailboxes, if you want the changes to show quicker, then yes you can perform a manual resync.
