javascript loops

Hi Guys,
I have an array and into the array i have another array

so I am trying to access to each row in the array and get his array so I ended up doing something like that but it doesn't work:
its never goes into my second loop.

for (var i = 0; i < VirtualDocument.length; i++) {
            for (var j = 0; j < VirtualDocument[i].length; j++) {
                var docs = VirtualDocument;

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Shouldn't it be more like this:

for (var i = 0; i < VirtualDocument.length; i++) {
    for (var j = 0; j < VirtualDocument[i].pages.length; j++) {
        var docs = VirtualDocument[i];
