Show elapsed time

Assuming that the data below is in columns C and D and I want to show the elapsed time in terms of hours and minutes (h:mm).  How do I write a formula that fills that in when it sees a date/time format such as the one shown below in columns C and D

Column C                               Column D

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Do column C and D contain actual timestamp formatted as ddd dd/m/yyyy, h:mm am/pm and not the timestamp as text strings, you may try this...

and format the formula cell as [h]:mm

Thanks Neeraj,

Each of the two columns C and D are formatted as ddd" "mm"/"d"/"yyyy," "h:mm" "am/pm and the resulting duration should be in h:mm.

The online sheet is here with the duration column designated by yellow coloring.

Thank you for the assistance!
